For that matter, I am curious, too, and would love to peek at a test xWMA file; anybody know where to find some, ideally together with a reference WAV/MP3/OGG file? Alternatively, maybe somebody with Windows and that MS xWMA tool can take a short free .WAV, turn it into a xWMA file, and upload both...

Hi Lance, I've had a look through all my old scumm stuff and I don't have it. It was probably on Lucashacks at some point though so I'll see if there's any backups of that floating around.

I could never find anything capable of decoding XWMA hence why I had to use xWMAencode in my tools. When I last checked (about 6 months ago) FFMPEG couldn't do it. Most tools that claimed to be decoders just bundled xWMAencode with them. The only one that looked promising was this one. I emailed ask...

ScummVM Toolbox isn't part of ScummVM, future enquiries should really be addressed via my contact page.

An untested version that <should> work with the current builds can be found here.

I'm inclined to agree with Fingolfin. For a frontend to be useful it really should offer something that the inbuilt gui doesn't. I made my frontend when ScummVM didn't have a GUI and kept it updated for 2+ years. Eventually though, the point came where the inbuilt ScummVM GUI was good enough - there...

Thanks for trying it :)

md5: The icons can be found in the various gant packages.

Qvist: The temp folder will be deleted in the final release, it was just disabled in this build so that I could check that the file copying and extracting was working correctly.

ScummVM ToolBox - A windows frontend for the ScummVM Tools

If a few people could test this for me, I'd be very grateful. If anyone can clear up some of the things listed under 'known issues' that would also be very welcome. What does it do? It adds a friendly, quick and easy frontend to the command line tools (the additional tools that are included with the...
