On the other hand it also uses IR. And not in a good way. The sensor bar is nothing but two bright IR lamps. If fact if you can put two bright lamps on top of your TV it makes the wiimote even more accurate because the lamps would leave a better IR signature...

They are working on the hack. I think currently it is possible to run copied GC games on wii.

You can expect good performance from Dosbox providing you run it on a native x86 machine. (almost any Intel processor would do) On other hardware dosbox seems to have problems...

I can confirm that FreeSCI supports the SCI0 version of Quest for Glory (formerly known as Hero's Quest). It's even able to make some significant graphical upgrades. However it is far from perfect. You have the option to install Yellow Dog Linux on PS3. If I'm not mistaken it's a Fedora Core linux. So far people had no problems running Fedora Applications on PS3.
