The Art of Point-and-Click Adventure Games

Doesn't seem to have come up before, but since it just arrived on my doorstep, The Art of Point-and-Click Adventure Games is a beautiful retrospective with gorgeous pictures. I'm sure the words are good too, but I haven't gotten that far :) https://discourse-cdn-sjc2.com/standard14/uploads/thimblewe...

Inherit the Earth: Sand and Shadows Kickstarter

It looks like they are trying again, I hope they manage it this time, but $160k is a significant amount for a lesser known adventure.

Edit: A link would be handy :)

New claymation game by the Neverhood guys (kickstarter)

Yet another nifty Kickstarter point & click project.
The Neverhood was awesome, Armikrog should also be.

Dreamfall Chapters (The Longest Journey) Kickstarter

I am surprised noone has mentioned it yet, and it's got ~$750,000 in the handful of days it's been up.

Kickstarter Link

Since TLJ is arguably (go on, argue) the best adventure ever, I'm excited for this one.

Yeah, that got me to contribute; at first it looked like yet another RPG Maker game and I am not a fan of that look anymore.

Yet another Adventure Kickstarter (Reincarnation)

I'm sure some of you have been going a little nuts with Kickstarter recently as have I (thanks to Tim Schafer), here's another little one: Reincarnation: The Root of All Evil Which is based on the series of flash games on Newgrounds http://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/projects/137159/posts/238753/image-1221...

I was under the impression that GPL (at least from v2) allows relicensing under subsequent versions without needing extra permission from original authors.
