You are very much awesome. :D Tested it with TITLE.MUS, ran the RAW through GoldWave (for the record, you need to select "PCM signed 16 bit, little endian, mono" with a sample rate of 22050Hz) and converted it to WAV format. Now I hopefully have a decent ringtone to use in future amongst other thing...

Oh, um, is it possible you could compile a 32-bit version? I'm currently stuck with a 32-bit Windows for the time being. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately my knowledge of compiling source code is limited to installing Cygwin or MinGW, grabbing some source, running Makefile and crossing fingers that everything will just work. The code you showed in that post I'm not sure what to do with, like should I save it to a specifically-named .c fi...

Will SVM Tools ever support extraction of Discworld 2 music?

I've always admired the soundtrack for the game and was hoping there would be a means nowadays of retrieving the music from the .MUS files, but it would appear no-one out there has made a tool publically (or easily) available for a simpleton like me to dive into. I periodically check the buildbot no...

Does anyone know who provided you guys with the third PlayFate demo recently? I did offer you the same datafiles a long time ago but for some reason no-one ever bit. Now I see somebody out there managed to retrieve them from some obscure source in the world and included the DOS-specific files as wel...

ScummVM needs more graphic options (for Windows at least)

So I thought I'd try 1.7.0 lately since I hadn't been keeping up with ScummVM in quite a while, and while I like it overall, I feel it could do with some more variety in regards to display output. More specifically, the ability to customize filters, or use shaders, or adjust how blurry the bilinear ...

Okay, to make things clearer, DeScumm will not decompile scripts from Last Crusade EGA or Loom EGA. I specify "-3" to tell it that they're v3 according to the SCUMM versions table, but it will still spout "ERROR: Unknown script type!". Can anyone help out at all?

How to extract/decompile scripts for SCUMM v1-v3 games?

I was wondering if anyone in recent years has come up with an ideal way of doing any or all of the following with SCUMM v1-v3 titles: a) Examine all their resources, bitmaps, scripts, rooms (in one convenient program). b) Extract and/or decompile scripts. ScummRev can't seem to handle any of the EGA...

Where can I find extensive documentation on Cine & Gob?

The wiki pages on SCI and AGI have helped me a great deal in learning to understand how the scripts and resource layouts in those games work and the list of opcodes has been a particularly great guide. I'd quite like to learn more about the scripting in the Cine and Gob engines next but the wiki doe...

B.A.S.S. - Amiga and demo versions

Might as well ask, what's the obstacle or obstacles hindering support of these? I seem to recall it being said a decade(!) ago that these versions wouldn't be supported, but I took that to mean it would just take a bit longer for them to work. I understand that the file structure in the Amiga versio...

So what's the likelihood of SD card support in the future?

Although originally it looked as if one had to significantly modify their Dreamcast to allow an SD slot and internal adapter, times have progressed and now you can go for the easier solution of getting an SD-to-serial adapter to slot into the back of your console. :) The easiest place to get one of ...

I discovered quite recently that Wyrmkeep originally put out a small non-interactive demo of Inherit The Earth on their website back in 2003/04 before replacing it with a larger playable demo. Here are two Web Archive references to it (the latter letting you know of the size)... http://web.archive.o...

Hey again, do you know if anyone's made an SJIS.FNT file yet or can compile the tool for Windows? :) The create_sjisfnt tool is included in the current Win32 ScummVM Tools Daily Snapshot. Oh cool! 8) Did check the tools daily snapshot last night but it wasn't present then. Thanks for including it! ...
