With "black bars on all four sides" is should technically be possible to enlarge the image to use the entire height of the screen (not the entire width (at least on wide-screen monitors)) without losing the correct aspect ratio.
I'm hoping for that option myself

i didn't make any statement on the usability

i just wanted to bring up the name, so you see there is (was?) such a project going on
but it is by far not as easy as the c++ ports

scummvm can just use the midi of your soundcard, and yours should support soundfonts

i daubt a special 64bit version is needed, because speed should be fine anyway
but i don't think it wouldn't help at all, if the compiler does some automatic optimization
these of course won't 'help' if you don't have a speed problem to begin with

So at the end there is no use for the built-in ScummVM functionality of soundfont loading in Windows? And currently no one has released some "optimized" banks? AFAIK (don't quote me on that) the linux version also needs other tools for soundfonts but IMO using midiyoke&synthfont isn't...
