Re: Games i want ScummVM to Support

How modest. You might as well have searched for 'every point and click adventure game made ever' on mobygames and posted the result.

Re: Woodruff problem. Part of the game (tobozen?) is in french?

Why did you use the installer? It has nothing to do with ScummVM, and will only lead to problems.

Simply copy the game files from your original cd to a folder on your hard drive and run the game in ScummVM.

The required files are:

INTRO.STK
WOODRUFF.ITK

Why? Smacker is supported in ScummVM now, no need to convert to dxa.

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

Johnny Castaway was not based on SCI (or AGI for that matter). It uses a proprietary screensaver, and this is also the reason it is not (yet) supported.

Re: Infrastructure updates

What happened to the 'View all unread posts' button in the forum? It was really useful.

Try running the installer in compatibility mode. If you can get it to work, you won't need to do all these other steps.

This is an old game. Have you tried running the installer on an earlier version of Windows, like XP/98/95?

Could be a promotional copy or a re-release?

Could you post a photo of the sleeve and cd-rom and list the contents of it?

I see, my mistake. I believe there is no straightforward way to convert back and repack the files. Telltale develops their own tools and Telltale Explorer is game-specific, so it's no surprise it throws errors with a modified file. You could perhaps contact the dev of Telltale Explorer for help.
