Re: ScummVM 0.9.1a beta2 with DLDI support released

DS-X with GBAMP CF DLDI: Same save problems as 091ab1. Yeah, the sorta emulate the GBAMPCF, but not completely. Team DS-X needs to release a .dldi file, like ds-x.dldi :) I mean, they claim to fully support homebrew, but my SC Lite runs most homebrew better, especially since DLDI... agentq, thanks ...

Any news from DS-X about a possible FAT Lib release or a sample unit for you, agentq?

Yeah, thanks a lot for all the work on getting ScummVM DS to work on all the different flashcarts out there. And thanks for being around and listening to user feature requests (like my proposed and now implemented fixed 200% screen scale option I'm really happy with!). Keep up the good work :)

Not sure if this helps but the .zip file method works fine on my English G6 Lite 4G. Saving/loading works.

I read that the guys from ezflash will mail you a card if you are working on homebrew games, so it might be worth a shot to mail them for a card so you can test with it. That's a great initiative and worth trying. Maybe it'd help 'the G6/M3 problem' as well if agentq contacted G6/M3 directly to ask...

beta2 works fina again on my G6 Lite! I used the same zipfile again and it just works like in 0.6.1. Saving/loading also works. When I press Quit my DS stays on but the screens go black. The fixed 200% scaling option works like a treat, I'm really happy to see and use it, thanks a lot. :)

jelbo, if you try exactly the same zip file with 0.6.1, does it work then? Because I don't think Sam & Max and DOTT together would be under 30Mb. Yeah, I used the same zip with 0.6.1 and that works. BTW, Maniac Mansion was in it too, I forgot. Here's how the files are in the zip: \DotT\ TENTACL...

I'm having a weird problem using the beta with my G6 Lite. Previously I could run 0.61 fine with Sam & Max: Hit the Road and Day of the Tentacle. I put those game files inside 2 different dirs (SMHtR and DotT), zipped it using WinRar with no compression to scummdata-a.zip. Then using builddata-a...

jelbo, the scaling used in ScummVM DS is not quite a simple pixel scale, there is an effect I use to give a partial bilinear effect, but it doesn't work too well when the image is scaled up, it's mostly effective when it's scaled down. I see. Yeah, the scaling down method looks fantastic, and that'...

I would like to see the option for the zoomed view to be exactly twice the size as the original. I can zoom around with L + A/B now, but I can't get the view to be pixel perfect 200%. Here's an image that shows the pixel distortion when not using that: http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/75/samnmaxsc...

There's a petition running to ask the g6/M3 dvelopers to release the source code for their products (at least the FAT reading/writing part), anyway, you can read it here: http://www.petitiononline.com/m3g6brew/petition.html Let's hope the G6 team release the drivers/source and we can enjoy full Scum...
