The game works fine for me too when all files are in the same folder. Saving and loading included.. but does anyone else notice scrambled parts of the screen i.e. the parts holding the inventory at the bottom and the options on the upper part of the screen?

Ah, the DXA movies didn't fix the corrupted screen areas but I guess it will be fixed in some future release anyway.

DXA is an alternative file format for the cutscenes of some games (which furthermore has superior quality than the MPEG ones you probably have). Here's a Broken Sword 2 setup guide which talks about it. The interesting part is the one about videos. You have to download some files from the extra sec...

jvprat wrote:It looks like an overlay handling bug. If I remember correctly, the MPEG videos are played using the overlay. In the meantime you could try using the DXA cutscenes, which I suppose will be rendered in the main game surface.
Hope this question isn't too stupid but what do you mean by DXA cutscenes?

As Grim Fandango isn't yet in the list of games supported by ScummVM it won't be possible to play it on the Wii soon :(

..but I voted for it ;)

dhewg, first of all thanks so much for your ScummVM Port. That's exactly what I was dreaming of - lying on my couch, playing my all time favourite games with the Wiimote :) My Homebrew Channel currently features only ScummVM and the WAD Installer - nothing else needed ;) I first tried the version th...

Fast switching Scaled/unscaled screen

I admit that I haven't tried the latest Betas but I think my suggestion for putting in an easy way to fast switch from unscaled to scaled view on the main screen hasn't found its way into scummvm ds :( Am I the only one who would find this feature useful? I had this idea while playing Monkey Island ...

Re: ScummVM and G6 lite

That's correct, it's not even difficult to run ScummVM on G6 lite! I think most problems are from users who either don't read the instructions fully or they know very little about running software anyway. The G6 lite will run all of the gamez as long as they're under 30MB - they run just as fast as...

Is this pause only once at the beginnig or also when you save the game?
I'd really love to play Kyrandia.. please hand over the Beta Release :D

@agentq: First of all, I LOVE your port. It was the main reason for me to buy an NDS - thanx so much :D I have a similar suggestion to that one "caw" already mentioned. It would be great if one could switch the "Unscaled lower screen" function just by pushing a button rather than...

Did I order the wrong hardware?

Hi, maybe I post this to early as I ordered a G6 Lite + Passcard3 a few days ago and it hasn't been delivered yet. After seeing this video (funny that I found the link on Ron Gilberts Blog ) I bought a Nintendo DS and ordered the hardware mentioned above. Playing my old favourite games with the Styl...
