ScummVM for nVidia Shield; which build do I need?

I've used ScummVM for years on my PC but now I want to try it on my nVidia Shield (2017). Since the older build 2.0 is not available for the Shield via the Play Store, I assume I need to sideload this? No problem... but which build do I download for the Shield? Is it the ARM64? And do I need the &qu...

Do you need the official Dreamweb demo?

I know I've got it on a 'PC Gamer' cover CD somewhere if you do, and I'd be happy to look it out if you want it.

Incidentally, in college I used to dream of somehow getting the source code for DreamWeb one day (or 'remaking it from the graphics files) and "enhancing" the game... restoring some of what I always felt was cut/rushed content, such as the priest's resolution, adding new puzzles and optio...

Wow! I never thought I'd see this in ScummVM! Dreamweb is one of my top five favourite games of all time, and one of the most atmospheric and immersive games I've ever played. I still remember buying it, and finding out a day later that it got "banned" and withdrawn from sale here (Austral...

Yeah, you're right. It works in some places, but not others. For example. Pressing Shift-1 will work to start Bargon Attack, but it doesn't work in some other places. Thanks for confirming I'm not going nuts! :) Yes, F1 seems to be the only F-command that works right. I'm hoping those keys aren't e...

Thanks for the new version, agentq! You're a legend, helping my dream of Sierra games on the DS to come true! :) To enter other function keys, just use shift with the corresponding number key on the virtual keyboard. No, I know that isn't very obvious! This is my first chance since my last post to p...

Yeah, I was planning to put a key in for that. It'll either be Start or B, haven't quite decided yet. My vote would be for B ('cos you need to press it quite a bit), but then I'd still want ESC to be a key too (for the menu); maybe A or Start for that? Anyway, whatever you think is best is cool. Oh...

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! My dream of playing Sierra adventures on my DS has come true! Ok, so far it's AGI-only, but SCI is up to the big guns in charge of ScummVM, not you... you're the one to thank for your marvelous port to the DS, and for doing justice to these awesome slices of my childhoo...

I tried it on my GBAMP and my FlashAdvance Pro and they both worked perfectly, so I'm not going to be removing it. Of course not, but being it's a pretty nasty problem for those it does effect (ie. not just a little graphic glitch or something), I was figuring it'd be logical to release a 'Quit dis...

Not a big issue since closing the DS manualy isint that much of a strain Thanks for that, Grimgoil... glad it's not just my DS! I agree, it's no big problem (once you know about it, anyway! LOL!). If it can't be fixed, the Quit button could simply be removed. Incidentally, Grimgoil, with the new Sc...

Ok, I was just about to post a big long result of me testing loads of games with 'Direct Copy', and it still not keeping my save when I had one last idea and gave it a try... and it solved the problem for me!!! It was the new 'turn off the DS when you choose 'Quit' function that was causing me the p...

Hi! Ok, I was super excited to see this news, and rushed to download and compile my ScummVM games again! Then to the testing! So far, everything works fine (I've tried Monkey Island 1, DOTT, Loom and Kyrandia so far), EXCEPT SAVING. Whereas the previous version ran mostly fine (apart from a few Gobl...

Banjo, I've already played with the agi engine, and it seems to work fine with ScummVM DS, although the engine still has some work to be done on it. AWESOME! I am soooo looking forward to using this to play AGI games! Thanks! :D Cheers, Banjo EDIT: So (and I know this perhaps won't be for a while! ...

Again, my heartfelt thanks go to Agentq for making this port (it's what convinced me to get a DS in the end!). I'm using a G6, so I can't have voices... but hey, if I want the 'full PC' experience, I'd play these games on a PC. When I bought Broken Sword for my GBA, I didn't expect the same from it ...

ScummVM Game Icons for use on a G6 Lite

Hi all! I'm LOVING ScummVM on my DS and G6L (ok, right now I can only play the floppy versions but it's a tiny handheld and I have my PC for playing full talkies on anyway!)... it's great to have some of my fave games ever in handheld form at last... here's to the (hopeful) addition of AGI support t...
