I know it's a bit late reply, but you can try this: http://kldp.net/frs/download.php/3041/scummvmkor_0.4.2_gp32.zip An old Korean fork based on 0.9.0CVS (built around 2005.12 or so), no MP3, no OGG, no modern skin, ... but you might find it useful. P.S. I (wonst719/WonStar) am leaving the GP32 world...

Wow. I did write DOS backend some time ago using DJGPP and allegro lib and it actually worked pretty well, but I deleted all the source codes by accident.
Think I should make backups frequently. :P

Unfortunately, MT-32 emulator now uses fixed output rate at 32000 hz.
Due to bugs which present in the emulator, it produces inaccurate sound other than 32000 hz.
So... It's impossible to change MT-32 output rate without editing sourcecode.

MONKEY and ATLANTIS show the intro, Kanji Fonts are displayed correct. However, when the inventory using kanji-fonts should appear, the games still crash. MONKEY2 crashes after difficulty selection. Btw, The reason why kanji version makes so many crash is that Kanji text is too large to fit invento...
