Just a few letters around the cursor, like in text cursor positioning, isn't going to do it most probably (re: similar texts to click on), so it would have to be a larger glass. And actually, I think the magnifying glasses would take up more time than pinch-and-zoom. You would need it for most click...

Thanks for a great port, it's so cool to see those games on the iPhone! The launcher is why I've been coming to the forums though :D Took me probably about 5-10 minutes to navigate to the game folder on the iPhone, since the current one is just not really well suited to big thumbs I guess ;) I bough...

Are you sure the Hermes doesn't have an ARM? There are a lot of ARM processors, even Intel XScale is imho based on ARM. Imho the SC32442A is ARM-compatible as well. And yes, PocketScumm works fine on the Hermes. Just don't slide out the keyboard while playing, that was a problem once (not sure if st...

Well, actually the executable loader checks for quite a few things in the header. Beginning with the machine type field. So it's really not as easy as you describe ;) Example: I have an executable, machine type correct, subsystem 0009 (WinCE), subsystem version 2.0, OS version 4.0, libraries used no...

Oh, sorry I missed that. 2003SE needs somewhat different executables. All FreePascal created CE executables run on nearly every device beginning from CE 3.0 - except for 2003SE. Same goes for all the reports here, since I got sensible about that topic on my own apps, I noticed that many "does n...

Oh, and I just bought "LucasArts Zehn Adventures" (10 classic LucasArts games) on eBay without codes for four games, thinking they would run in ScummVM. Well, I'll see which versions those are when they arrive :)

If you search for the codewheel here on this forums, you'll probably notice that while the copy protection is shown, you can enter whatever you want ;)

5.0 comes after 2003, so you should be ablwe to use the WM 5 version also on WM 5 smartphones. 2003 Smartphone was version 4.2.something I think, which was special in that it needed not only different installation cab files, but also different executables.

Imho PocketPCs usually have a touchscreen, while Smartphones have not. Next to the hardware, the Welcome page etc. are different, so there's a different on the OS level as well for sure. Playing ScummVM without a touchscreen could get quite difficult ;) Btw: Microsoft FAQ: What’s the difference betw...

which looks like a badly made phishing site - not even terms of service listed anywhere, no imprint with a physical address like legally required in some countries, and morally required for a sensitive money handling operation everywhere in the world. Sure you're not a troll of them, mkt? ;)

@hollaho: with "donations" or even online software, with *everything* not physically shipped where you can show them a tracking number from a postal office, PayPal will refund the buyer. Believe me, I get angry at PayPal every time someone donates before trying my absolutely free software,...

Hmmm "device" and the title of that paragraph sounded to me like hardware, not software. But I'm sure any lawyer of those three companies could turn it around in a way that it would fit anything ;)

@clone2727: Virtual PC in itself doesn't allow you to run imports or Nintendo games on non-Nintendo hardware; I read the policy again and found only three topics, which are not about emulation in general, but could fit here: "Devices that allow the play of import games on a domestic system are ...
