Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
Just for an update, I tested it on another PC using Windows 7 and it didn't work there either. I tried versions going back as far as I could (after a while they didn't seem to work well), so I wonder if the functionality hasn't been broken for a long time on Windows. Surprising no one brought it up ...

Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
EDIT: Nevermind, I realized I had to use github there and not my scummvm account. Sorry about that. I sent it in.

Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
Thank you. I was able to test alt + enter and that works just fine (going from window to full screen and vice versa), but alt F5 no matter which alt I press does nothing. I will go and create a ticket.

Re: The case against aspect correction of Monkey Island
I just tested with Sam and Max and Fate of Atlantis, and the aspect ratio correction works for both of them for me. Knowing the way it is implemented, it should actually work for all 320x200 games. As for the stretch to window mode, the issue is that the result depends on the ratio of your window (...

Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
So lucasarts original menus do not work with 2.1.1 either. It works in 2.1.1 (and 2.1.2) for me. I'm supposed to press Alt + F5 to get the original menus right? It does nothing on my build. I'm running Windows 10 64bits and tried both the recommended build of 2.1.2 and the old 2.1.1. I tried in man...

Re: The case against aspect correction of Monkey Island
So actually just enabling correct aspect ratio fixes it for many games but not all. I had to add stretch to window for games like Fate of Atlantis and Sam and Max to go full screen 4:3. This leads me to wonder. Is there any disadvantage to just using stretch to window and leave correct aspect ratio ...

Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
So lucasarts original menus do not work with 2.1.1 either. I guess it broke from there on. I'll try reverting to 2.1.0 for now, or alternatively I might just stick with 2.1.2 until the next update that fixes this.

Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
So if I download the 2.1.0 from late last year I can restore the original save menu? Yes, but it would be better to use 2.1.2 rather than 2.1.0. Is there anywhere on the site that describes changes to the nightly builds? I tried navigating around to find such a file but couldn't find it. Just curio...

Re: How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
This works for me in the 2.1 release, but this indeed appears to have been broken since then as it doesn't work with a nightly build. It would be nice to report the bug on https://bugs.scummvm.org/. So if I download the 2.1.0 from late last year I can restore the original save menu? Is there anywhe...

Re: The case against aspect correction of Monkey Island
Just to add to my previous comment. I tried Day of the Tentacle in Dosbox, and it runs correctly in 4:3 out of the box. With Scummvm the only way I can get Day of the Tentacle to run in 4:3 is to select the "stretch to fit" option, the "correct aspect ratio" box does not seem to...

Re: The case against aspect correction of Monkey Island
Wow this is an amazing thread. I was always using the "stretch to window" setting cause it basically makes everything go to 4:3 on my 4:3 monitor. When I use "correct aspect ratio" it doesn't make all games run 4:3. Aren't most of the later Lucasarts games supposed to run in 4:3,...

How to bring up original menus in Lucasarts games?
I used to be able to do this a long time ago by pressing alt and F5 but it no longer works. In the past I always used the Scummvm saving options, and I still like it just the same, but mainly concerned about losing all my saves like I did from my over a decade old copy on my older older computer (sa...

Re: Any update on shaders?
Kasenshlogga> I found all those shaders (Lottes, caligari) etc for download but figure out how to get Reshade to load them. For Scummvm which did you find most suited to emulate 90's computer monitors (minus the curvature)
