Ok, that was it! Once I do --disable-debug --enable-release i have those values: Monkey: 75 FPS Grim: 50 FPS The Longest Journey: all fast! Of course, that is not 500 for monkey and 300 for grim on a PC machine, but at least now it is on the level as expected to be more or less. Sorry for bother :)

Did you try with different values for the 3d renderer options under the "Edit game..." -> "Graphics" tab for the game? (Check the checkbox for "Override global graphics settings" first!) Yes of course tried all possible versions with disabling everything and testing so...

@Praetoran Which version of ScummVM are you running? That was tested on 2.5.0 and yesterday's daily build I've tested with stable 2.5.0 and a development ScummVM build (2.6.0git, today's local build from master) on the GOG version of the game (detected a DVD/Windows/English) and it runs fine for me....

Have the same issue today on both Win10 and AmigaOS4 machines : once i run game, it runs fine, but when i press "new game" , it says "unable to open archive tohonodes.m3a", but file is here,

Played today in Broken Sword 2.5 over stable 2.1.0, and find out that sometimes the saved sessions didn't load correctly. One time I notice that when just start I game, save immediately, and tried to load it later. I was sure its some strange issue / maybe just bad luck, so continue further playing ...
