Of course you can rebuild the STK!
With the Russian tool, the command is 'gobcrack /c map.txt'.

Re: Step back in time and visit Versailles at the court of Louis XIV
Problem: if you choose the option ´encyclopedia´ in the main menu, the ScummVM launcher (and the game) crashes. Console output: Can't open links file: lien_doc.alm! Solution: move (or copy) /TEXTES/TOUS_DOC.ALM to /TEXTES/LIEN_DOC.ALM and it works. [Versailles, Windows version, german] You are righ...

Re: Croustibat - English translation
I would be interested in the Gob tools if they can be found. As already noted by rzil , some Gob tools are already available in the set of the general ScummVM Tools. You can get the others (the ones I used) on the Old-Games.ru forum: https://www.old-games.ru/forum/threads/utilita-dlja-igr-coktel-vi...

Re: Croustibat - English translation
OK - I have checked that it is quite possible to make an English translation! https://i90.fastpic.ru/big/2019/1015/cd/0fbcad4b75eec01662ce0ef654ad28cd.png Although I am not a programmer, and I have not yet checked if the graphics could be replaced. As far as I know MAN-biker was already going to tra...

"Return to Zork": support for different versions?
"Return to Zork" had many different versions on many platforms. As far as I know, only two of them are currently supported: PC floppy and PC CD. There is also a rumor that the support for the Macintosh version is in the works? However, I would like to ask about the rather better PC MPEG ve...

Re: Zork Grand Inquisitor GOG DVD version
eriktorbjorn , thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I am not a programmer at all and do not understand anything in that decoding either. By 'getting sound and audio to sync up' you mean the alignment between AC3 sound and MPEG2 videos? I did not notice any discrepancy between them. Although I did no...

Re: Zork Grand Inquisitor GOG DVD version
It seems that the interlacing problem has not yet been solved. Is it possible to do anything with that at all? I have to add that MPEG2 movies also have a somewhat quieter sound and wrong resolution: the original DVD version used to show MPEG2 movies at the original 720x480, while in ScummVM they ar...

Re: Croustibat - English translation
Fred_PJ, thank you for preserving and sharing this rare game with everyone in the first place
There is certainly interest in making an English translation!
I think I had Gob tools somewhere, as all the three 'Gobliiins' have been translated into Russian by fans. I will try to look for it...

Re: Step back in time and visit Versailles at the court of Louis XIV
I just added the detection entries for French, English, Italian and German to the Git. Thanks! They should work without additional work but if you could test it that would be great. Of course, I will test it - but a little bit later. Currently there are only yesterday's builds available for downloa...

Re: Step back in time and visit Versailles at the court of Louis XIV
Hi lephilousophe , Thanks for the clarification, but how do you need to have the Versailles executable binaries - you want me to send you those files or just the codes ScummVM reports when trying to add the games? Here are those codes: 1. French DVD version . {"PROGRAM.Z", 0, "167ac4d...

Re: Step back in time and visit Versailles at the court of Louis XIV
Hi! I have registered to tell that I am a big fan of 'Versailles 1685' - I have written a guide for it (in Russian) and I have collected many, many versions of this game :) Sadly, neither of them is recognized by the latest daily build of ScummVM. Could you please add them? I used to report many suc...
