Re: Choosing a A Game to Run

Could you post your /Applications/Backyard/Baseball dir and maybe do an md5sum on them? There may be files missing or corrupted? You need to at least have these files to get ScummVM to recognize the game Backyard Baseball Macintosh BaseBall (0) BaseBall (1) BaseBall (2) BaseBall (4) BaseBall (9)

Re: The Big Red Adventure

Even if someone has a save, it probably wouldn't help you, since, as sev already pointed out, the game never reached a "playable", let alone "completable" state. So, even if you could reach the end of act 2 it will most certainly crash at the beginning of act 3. The engine the game runs on was origi...

Re: Getting MIDI hardware recognized in Linux

Ok, so buildbot does not have all libraries compiled in, but what about your problem? Libjpeg is not needed using your MIDI hw...have you tried getting it to work with that buildbot build? If it works, then your other build is simply too old or lacks some hw support or gas a broken ALSA implementati...

Re: Getting MIDI hardware recognized in Linux

Have you tried with a Buildbot build?
I don't know Linux, are the derivates that different from each other that one can't use an e.g. Debian build on Ubuntu?

Re: Wintermute games squeezed in SDL fullscreen

Could someone especially on Linux cross-check, please?
At least on Linux Mint it seems like a similar problem

@criezy

Can the playback of those high res videos still be optimized...it runs a little slow with dropouts on weaker machines.

Wintermute games squeezed in SDL fullscreen

I wonder if anyone else has this problem, if not it is yet another SDL problem on my platform. All wintermute games (can easily be tested with Bickadoodle ) seem to be squeezed on the X axis (probably due to those black bars on top and bottom) when playing/displaying it in fullscreen. Switching to w...

Re: Error in Larry 7

The version appears in English in the launcher.

If it has Russian text and voice, you have (probably) installed a third party patch.
Thus it is bound to crash sooner or later, because it might not be supported 100%.
Can you point us to the patch?

Re: Dark Theme?

If you can edit xml files you can create your own.

The wiki page about editing is outdated though (and the stx files should have more comments on what is what, so it would be easier for beginners to tinker with the themes...just sayin') ;-)
