Yes, that was the problem. Everything now again works as it should do. A bit unbelievable, how such a small thing could cause such a huge problem. Haven't tested Kirben's builds, but I guess that should fix them, too.

Guess I still need to wait for the build to include the fix. Current snapshot doesn't but clicking repeatedly on Ignoring does start ScummVM properly (one mystery solved).

Well, I hope someone does that and finds out what got broken. I for my part have no clue of such things.

I have the same problem. Kirben's snapshot won't start at all, Windows just saying the program doesn't work. Buildbot (32 and 64) gets the Assertion error. Latest Stable Build does work (though it does have its own quirks), but that one is a year old. I don't know why it doesn't work anymore, in the...
