So, I propose to restart the thread, probably literally, from the very beginning and start assembling useful links like repos, working on backporting those fixes, and sketch the plan and current state of affairs. If a new thread is due, where would be the best place to open it at your forums? Sorry...

I have to frankly say, the more I read the discussion about old games support in these posts above, the less I understand what's the point of argument is, because it looks like continous nitpicking in other people's replies. Obviously, there is no way to make sure every single game works without tes...

I'm not an official spokesperson, but i do think that 3D *games* are still out of scope of ScummVM, you may want to look at ResidualVM for those (sister project of ScummVM explicitely for 3D adventure games). OpenGL has a limited use in ScummVM for e.g. (iirc) upcoming(?) hardware accelerated scree...

Well, I hope it is not implied that the port must flawlessly support every single game at once. not to mention what to do about all the ones that were buggy on release, or where it's impossible to determine what the "correct" behavior is. If it's still possible to run original executable, ...

If that counts, I came from AGS forums and was not offended. Only had worries that being in "Junkyard" certain thread is not considered too important and would not be checked often, but that soon proved to be not true.

Well, I wanted to say that potentially could help finishing the fuzzie 's port, given I find free time. The biggest piece still missing is what should be expected from such port. First of all, what would be the range of AGS versions support. The problem here is also that AGS project itself is curren...

Sorry, I decided to delete my previous text, because I missed the above post by Snarky, and did not correctly understood what Longcat means.

Damn, I really hope I did not ignite another flamewar here. Even though I honestly felt offended by the quoted part of the interview, my point of posting here was not to accuse anyone, but to find out what is going on. I have to admit, that discussions on AGS forums do become pretty heated at times,...

Hello. I am one the coders who were continuing development of AGS since 2012, probably the "unofficial leader" of that development, which happened rather by circumstance than my own decision. To be honest, I came here after reading the recent article on PC Gamer , in particular what Eugene...
