It seems I do have a Spanish version on my HD though, which isn't listed on rev's page... Thanks clem; Kirben has already provided us with the Spanish version, and the latest daily build should detect it. This question has came up because the original game source code has conditional defines for a ...

Also, the Lure engine is still currently under active development, so MD5's for other languages aren't needed yet. But thanks anyway.

Re: Hack hack hack hack hack.

But, doesn't Data say it in Star Trek: First Contact when Picard says they are going to Earth to help with the other Federation forces and says that they will be disobeying orders. Actually, if my memory is correct, Data said "I believe I speak for everyone here sir, when I say 'To hell with o...

I doubt the non-PC versions will be supported, if the engine uses hard coded data (like BASS). That's probably going to be the case. Since Lure of the Temptress is now freeware, it'll be pretty easy for anyone to just grab the data files they need for their particular language from the PC versions....

Although remember that just because it's completable now doesn't mean that there still isn't some minor glitches to fix and various GUI elements still to implement. Not to mention sound support, which I haven't implemented yet. What I'm saying is that have fun playing it if you want, but don't worry...

Excellent. In any case, I can't imagine it would be all that hard to translate it if it's going to be faithfull to the spirit of the original games. Part of the charm of the series has always been that it wasn't big on text - it was mucking around with objects with your characters and seeing what ha...

Huh, I thought Revolution Software couldn't find their original source code? Where did you get it? :? Apparently it was accidentally found on an old backup tape whilst they were looking for some Broken Sword material. It isn't complete - two of the files are corrupt, but neither of them are critica...

Thanks for the support. I was lucky enough to recently get an almost complete copy of the original source code, so you can expect to see some rapid developments in functionality. I'm still somewhat starved for time to work on it, but I'm hoping to have it completable (albiet without sound yet implem...

Does Beneath a Steel Sky even use F5 for saving? I don't have my copy handy at the moment, but as I recall, wasn't there a special icon that appears along with the inventory when you move the cursor to the top of the screen that allows you to save or load games? Particularly with the older games, F5...

Speaking of source code, whatever happened with getting source for the Discworld games? I'd love to see them integrated into ScummVM.

Don't worry - it'll eventually be finished. It's just a somewhat slow process since, unlike many of the other games ScummVM supports, I've never seen the original source code. So my development of the module has been running concurrently with my efforts to disassemble the original game executable an...

You can use the saved game from ScummVM. in the original game too. You will just need to unpack (They are gzip compressed) and rename the filenames of the saved games. That's good to know - it means I can do the reverse to convert a post arcade savegame for use in ScummVM. I was never able to legit...

A good website for game easter eggs is www.eeggs.com - it lists another easter egg for Sam & Max in that the last bullet fired at the start of the game actually has Max's name on it, but it goes by so fast, you can only see it if you're quick with the PrintScreen button.[/url]
