Thanks for posting the comparison. I can confirm that on the PC version all sound effects are implemented as MIDI, so it's not surprising that sound was enhanced when they made the Amiga version. For the forseeable future, ScummVM isn't likely to support the Amiga version, though.. the source code w...

Re: Looking for Lure of the Temptress EGA files
I honestly don't know - certainly no one so far has come forward with a copy. But anyone reading this, if you do happen to have a Dutch release, we'd love to hear from you.clone2727 wrote:Is there an EGA version of the Dutch version too (not that we have the VGA version...)?

Looking for Lure of the Temptress EGA files
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on adding support for the EGA data files that came with the original commercial versions of Lure of the Temptress (this isn't going to be part of the upcoming release, though), and am currently looking for anyone who can provide me a copy of them and the executable...

Re: Will if ever?
Magnetic Scrolls (best candidate as seems there is no real engine development for years) One of the most important things to remember is that just adding a game engine to ScummVM won't magically make people appear to work on it - if it hasn't been worked on for years, there's no reason to believe t...

Lure of the Temptress (DOS-En (US)) with Konami Logo I'm aware of that version - an initial inspection showed that there didn't seem to be much different in that version from the standard English version, except for the logo. But just different enough that all the executable offsets are different, ...

As an aside; Is there the possibility to use audio sounds (eg. WAV, mp3 or ogg) instead of midi for LOTT? I wouldn't object if anyone wanted to take care of the programming aspects of adding such support; I personally had enough trouble trying to get just the MIDI sound to work properly to honestly...

Does this handle Copy Protection at all or should we still be restarting? This completely handles it, so no need to be restarting after you start the game. In fact, you won't see the copy protection screen on any language version now, unless you really want to, and use the '--copy-protection' comma...

We've checked, and gotten confirmation that all versions of the game are freeware - it's just that when the Revolution download page was created, those four versions were the only ones they still had on hand. We'll be shortly making a download available that contains all five known versions of the g...
