a) Don't add any irrelevant characters such as "/cd/". Just specify the path of the directory on the disc.
b) Icons are still handled like before.

The "uncached plugins" strategy can't be used on the DC, because it keeps loading plugins during detection, so you'd have to swap between the ScummVM disc and the game disc like a million times before detection could complete. I'd love to consider the SD adaptor, but I don't have any. I'll gladly ad...

ScummVM 1.2.1

Hi all. Regarding the new release 1.2.1, I'd like to draw some attention to a caveat when using the plainfiles. As you may have noticed, there are now two Nero images, each containing only half of the engine plugins. This is due to the fact that the combined size of all engine plugins now exceed the...

Yes, I am (or at least was, I haven't touched it in some time) doing the Residual port as well. It's in the Residual SVN source tree. @DCDayDreamer: Having game data designed for 320x240 isn't really the problem here, because ScummVM is supposed to always scale the screen up to 640x480, both with VGA and SCART output. It sounds like a rather strange bug. @zino: I used to have a demo version, but I lost it in a disk crash. If someo...

Hi Stryfe. No, ScummVM on the Dreamcast would not be more wonderful if was using KOS instead. The hardware is still the same. CDDA is supported by the port, but there are two things to consider: 1) The engine might not support CDDA for some version of a game that uses it with the original player (I ...
