That particular bug should be fixed Well, "fixed". You hacked around it and then hacked around that with another hack. I said *this* particular bug. If you checked the code more thoroughly, you would have seen that the overlapping inventory items bug was caused by a missing feature - a fl...

I second what clone said; however, I remember when I played through it last time with ScummVM that the inventory icons get a bit jumbled up as you amass them. Try selecting different inventory items, and one of them will hopefully by the clay mold, even though it may not look like it in the invento...

The only two Windows versions that do have extra hires resources, compared to their lowres DOS counterparts, are King's Quest 6 and Gabriel Knight 1. When I replayed Gabriel Knight 1 recently (in DOSBox), the DOS version could run either in low resolution, or with some high resolution elements depe...

As I recall, you still get some stuff in "high resolution." I think it was just the text boxes and a few icons, but it was kind of nice to me at the time. That's not quite right. The Windows version of QFG4 doesn't have any extra hires resources. The only two Windows versions that do have...

Nope, they are no longer needed. You can use the original Smacker or MPEG-2 videos.

It's not about code bloat at all... the way scalers are implemented currently is hackish, thus adding new scalers will only result into more hacks being added. The scaler code has been rewritten, as mentioned, which will allow for new scalers to be added. However, this rewrite hasn't been added in S...

I would indeed assist the ScummVM team in adding support for the sequel after the game is released. If the team is interested, of course  Great news! :) As one of the developers of the SAGA engine, I'm very grateful for all the help you've provided! Many thanks again, Mr. Pearce. Best of luck...

Until the custard book bug has been fixed, you should change the support level for Discworld, from "Excellent" to "Bugged", on the compatibility page: http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility/ That's a script bug in the original game and not our fault. We will do our best to fix it,...

There is a lot of work done by the original author who rewrote the engine, Marisa-Chan, in his own branch:

https://github.com/Marisa-Chan/scummvm/commits/zvision

He hasn't contacted us yet, AFAIK, so when he's done, his changes will be marged into ScummVM.

That is great news! I installed my Steam Loom in Mac and first tried to add it to ScummVM. Pointing to App bundle didn't work, ScummVM didn't recognize any game. Then I just right clicked Loom app bundle in Finder and selected Show Contents. I copied the whole "Contents" folder to another...

After a discussion, our stance on this subject has been changed, and the Steam versions will be supported in the latest unstable version of ScummVM, and perhaps in the upcoming version 1.7.0 as well. Both the Windows and Mac Steam versions should be working. They can be bought off Steam as part of t...
