Re: SCI support?

That's the point: As far as I can tell, the daily builds fetched at http://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/1.0.0/wince-1.0.0-latest.tar.bz2 no longer recognize SCI games. From what I've heard the SCI engine is not mature enough to be enabled in 1.0.0, so that's intentional. (The same is true about a...

Re: SCI support?

In recent builds it seems that SCI support is broken? ScummVM does not detect any SCI games. Also, in the last build I have that DID support SCI, ScummVM crashes if you try to save your game which makes testing a bit annoying since you always have to start from scratch... SCI games are not supporte...

Keymapping?

Just bought an HTC TytnII and one of the first apps I installed was naturally ScummVM. :) It works like a dream but there are a few annoyances mainly concerning Sierra games. This device has a slide-out keyboard and the cursor keys only control the cursor. I would want them to control the character ...

Recommended device for ScummVM?

Hey all. Have been fooling around with ScummVM for Symbian on my Nokia 5320 Xpressmusic and is VERY impressed. However, the screen is kinda small and it would be awesome with touchscreen support and perhaps even a small keyboard. Yep, I'm looking into buying a PocketPC. I'm puzzled though... Which o...

Sorry for double posting but wouldn't it be nice with a new s60v3 build pre- or of version 1? :)

Heh, well SCI compatibility is exactly what I'm curious about ;)

Oh well. Just thought I'd ask. :)

Just tried this build and I can see SCI support is progressing nicely :) Games are indeed even quite playable now! Nice work!!

Yup, it worked. Now it won't detect SCI games though. ;) Not that I was expecting them to work much better now but still :)

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but cursor movement on my 5320 (old-school non-touchscreen) won't work in these latest builds (not the 090218 build). I guess it's obvious since I see that these bugs, that prevent touchscreen from working properly, are viciously being hunted down. ;) Just thought...

This build does, judging from some quick playing around, seem quite stable on my 5320 XpressMusic phone. Might point out that this phone needs the 11 kHz audio fix in order to avoid audio stuttering. SCI support is pretty much nonexistent however, but I guess that was to be expected. This build must...

So PLEASE!! Make ScummVM do the job! I beg you... :( Your help is needed. Donate some IIgs game to the ScummVM Team for testing. Eugene Unfortunately I do not possess originals of these rare gems. They are, however, quite easy to find on the net (but I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to post links...

It would be very nice if ScummVM could support the IIGS ports of the AGI games, specifically the Ensoniq sound (MIDI-like music and PCM sound effects). After having played these versions you won't ever want to play the PC versions again! There are IIGS emulators out - the best ones being Sweet16 (fo...

Well, in that case you ought to get one and you won't have any problems playing those good old games :D :P ;)

Isn't it ironic? You need a fast computer to play the games that run to fast on your old P3 :D yup.
