Re: Official patches for Discworld 2?

The readme.txt file in the archive says the following: The DOS version only requires the replacement of the main program file DWB.EXE. Simply copy DWB.EXE from this patch into the directory in which you installed Discworld II. No mention of any data files being changed in the Win95 patch either, so ...

Re: Official patches for Discworld 2?

There were some official patches, yes. If you want, you can download the last one here: https://www.lspace.org/games/discworld/files.html . Both my CDs also have that same name, btw, so I guess it's normal. As for the game version, I can't say for sure. The Wiki doesn't list any DW2 bugs fixed, so m...

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

Not really a game, but Sierra made a screen saver once, Johnny Castaway (Or Screen Antics). Anyone know if it was based on SCI?

Depending on whether you chose OGG or FLAC compression when you made your talkie edition, check the folder for a subdirectory called "se_music_flac" or "se_music_ogg", and copy/move the files in there up one directory level up to where your installation is. The currently download...

Great news, I've been hoping to play this game again! I have a 3 CD version of the game, and the readme.txt identifies the game as "Douglas Adams Starship Titanic v1.00.42b". I've downloaded the titanic.dat file and copied the Assets folder from all 3 CDs, but there is no file named newgam...

i cant get discworld 1 to work. The SVN simply disappears when i attempt to start the ganme You might have to change your Music, SFX and Speech volume settings. I recently had the same problem, and it turned out that the Tinsel engine didn't like that I had set all volumes to 256 (Maximum value). A...

This sounds like a situation I encountered. Are you sure it really installed correctly? If it all worked properly, you should most definitely see a ScummVM icon. However, there is a chance that the installation did not finish, most probably due to networking issues - in other words, the ScummVM inst...

Have you tried using the iPhoneBrowser? It should give you full access to upload files anywhere. Worked like a charm when I tried transferring a couple of games to my iPod Touch.

I like the idea very much. With all the freely available demos and AGI fan-made games, my game list is starting to get long and cluttered. Some sort of sorting would be nice, either a directory structure or tabs on the game list.

Re: Try this engine...

I've tested it on Space Quest 0,1,2 and Lost Chapter. Only found a few bugs. But considering its only a few for an engine thats just been introduced. Bloody excellient. I most definitely agree! So far I've only tested this under Windows, playing KQ 1 and LSL1. As an amateur coder myself, I really d...
