It could be a bad conversion of the save files or somthing. If you make a new save and load it does the same thing happen ? Im also current working on making saves with every game i have thats supported by scummvm (1.0.0), My goal is to try and make a save at pretty much every important part in each...

ah i didnt realize the daily build had discworld support yet (my own fault for not looking). Yea i suppose the only changes are that i built a gsoc gui version and that SDL is built in (so the sdl.dll isnt needed and my EXE is also packed to make it smaller) but appart from that its proberly the same.

play games over webserver ?

Is it possible to have the game files on a server and to play them with scummvm without having to have the game files on the PC ? i am currently looking in...

the default path is usually where scummvm is placed so for example if you installed scummvm to C:\Program Files\Scummvm (this is the default path if you used the daily snapshot) all your save files would be there by default but this can also be changed by going to options on the main menu of scummvm.

i am glad it worked for you. if you want to build a debug version read my above post (now edited) or if you dont understand i can guide you through it but the debug version should work alright anyway so you proberly wont need the release version.

ok i managed to fix the error by adding the line tinsel_release/tinsel.lib" to scummvm.vcproj since its missing in the release section and now it appears to be building alright for that error but a new error happens to do with agos and saveload.cpp which i am gonna work on now and see what i can do....

i also get this error but only when building "release" if you build "debug" it works fine (i am unsure why since i aint a programmer but my guess is since its the tinsel engine that is failing its possible that it isnt ready to be built in the release version)

ok i have got the newest SVN (33460) and compiled it and ran it on a new game so that my old saves wouldnt be corrupting my new saves. and it still happens. it appears the crash happens when to many characters are used on the save screen over and over again (for example lots of saves with long names...
