Re: How to insert subtitles French, Spanish, German in Sierra games bought on GOG Games?

SIGH. Fine, but we are not part of GOG and not party to their business decisions.... so that is your choice. I am sure they will be sorry to lose you as a customer, but that is their choice. Please complain on their forums about this as it may be more productive.

Re: Are the "Supported Games" in the Wiki the only games that run?

Jump Preschool could be supported in future, but this is a COMPOSER engine V4 game, and the existing Composer engine only supports V1 and V2 games:

Re: Are the "Supported Games" in the Wiki the only games that run?

Firstly, ScummVM is not an emulator in that sense. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ScummVM#Features for a background on this, so yes each game needs work to support i.e. we are _not_ emulating a platform such as MS-DOS (as per DOSBox). There are always a few more games in the codebase than on the ...

Re: MT-32 original hardware display message

Hmm. Well, not surprising as internally ScummVM is not a single engine, but a collection of reimplemented engines for various games. SCI which is used for Space Quest 3 sends the required SysEx data to the MT-32 to get that message. Which games do not show the same messages? I assume mainly Monkey2 ...

Re: MT-32 original hardware display message

I would suggest testing with earlier stable releases of ScummVM i.e. 1.0.0 and see if this is a recent regression. Those messages are set by MIDI SysEx messages which are dependent on the game, game engine and backend driver down through SDL / native MIDI driver and USB to MIDI interface. I am not s...

Re: Unable to run daily snapshots

CaptainJei: If this is the buildbot snapshots, then you canm download the last two weeks of snapshots from here (back to 12th December) so can you be more exact about which is the first broken package?: https://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/master/ The only Win32 related changes were on 16th so mig...

Re: Quest For Glory 2 in ScummVM

Please report the bug at https://bugs.scummvm.org/ ... We would need the exact version of the ScummVM you are using. I would suggest testing with a nightly build as well:

Re: Relative mouse not working in 2.0

Ah. The v2.0.0 build was made using the Android SDL backend, rather than the older Android backend. That correction was made to the older Android backend which is what the buildbot also produces for nightly builds: https://buildbot.scummvm.org/builds.html I suggest try installing that instead? https...

Re: Relative mouse not working in 2.0

That hack using the Adlib MIDI button has been removed and it now has a specific control option in the Android port. See:

Re: Updated WebOS port with new features. Now Touchpad-friendly!

Yes, IRC or a quick message to scummvm-devel list is optimal, but apart from that any code changes / fixes can be submitted as a Github Pull Request and will get reviewed and merged. It would also be good to be the relevant Wiki pages updated for others wanting to compile and some help / notes on fi...

Re: Updated WebOS port with new features. Now Touchpad-friendly!

Though it should be noted that we do have automatically generated builds of the latest development code from git from our buildbot here: https://buildbot.scummvm.org/builds.html https://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/master/webos-master-latest.tar.xz Though always good to have a maintainer checking ...

Re: Updated WebOS port with new features. Now Touchpad-friendly!

codepoet80: Maybe pop into our IRC channel or drop a message to the scummvm-devel mailing list asking about that since not all developers check the forums. WebOS porter has not provided a build since v1.7.0 so there is an opening for a new WebOS port maintainer :)
