Re: Backyard Football 2002 shutting down at the start of a game

Technically that game is supported, but your mileage may vary as it was the last SCUMM HE game to be produced: https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Backyard_Football_2002 There are some missing support and opcodes so might have glitches: https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Humongous_Enterta...

Re: Izzy's Adventure for ScummVM?

Not the official game of the event so unlikely... Given the media ridicule of it and the last game from U.S. Gold before they were qcquired by Eidos, I suspect it had a very limited run :|

Re: Inherit The Earth Crashes

This is a known bug: https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/10365

I have posted a large amount of technical analysis of why this happens, but the fix is not clear and pending on a SAGA engine developer to fix. Patches are welcome...

Re: ScummVM and Windows for ARM64

This would be a question for our Windows porters ... but there is support for ARM64 in https://mingw-w64.org/doku.php so quite possible to add a builder to buildbot and provide releases if we can get a porter who could test...

Re: Unable to run daily snapshots

Praetorian: I can replicate this with the latest buildbot snapshot running under WinXP 32-bit. As you say, it is triggered by switching to the Classic Theme, either built in or external. I tried the debugging tools, but couldn't manage to get a backtrace easily. I can't reproduce with local Linux x8...

Re: Unable to run daily snapshots

I am not a Windows expert, but you need a backtrace from the point of the assertion with a debugger if you / we could start investigating this. See:

SIGH. Fine, but we are not part of GOG and not party to their business decisions.... so that is your choice. I am sure they will be sorry to lose you as a customer, but that is their choice. Please complain on their forums about this as it may be more productive.

Re: Are the "Supported Games" in the Wiki the only games that run?

Jump Preschool could be supported in future, but this is a COMPOSER engine V4 game, and the existing Composer engine only supports V1 and V2 games:

Re: Are the "Supported Games" in the Wiki the only games that run?

Firstly, ScummVM is not an emulator in that sense. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ScummVM#Features for a background on this, so yes each game needs work to support i.e. we are _not_ emulating a platform such as MS-DOS (as per DOSBox). There are always a few more games in the codebase than on the ...

Re: MT-32 original hardware display message

Hmm. Well, not surprising as internally ScummVM is not a single engine, but a collection of reimplemented engines for various games. SCI which is used for Space Quest 3 sends the required SysEx data to the MT-32 to get that message. Which games do not show the same messages? I assume mainly Monkey2 ...
