Re: Feedback on 2.2.1pre (Beta)

- The on screen keyboard appears for the tablet, but this appears over the bottom part of the screen - where you'd expect it. But this covers the text and entry area. Any chance the "game area" could be shrunk so the keyboard could appear under it and not on top of it? - It might be usefu...

Re: Omnipresent Navigation Bar

I can definitely second that!
I too use a Note 9 and making the navigation bar removable is a great feature. Thanks very much @IndigoHD and @Praetorian!!

Re: Better Music for GM ScummVM (and DOSBox) games

I appreciate the verbosity tremendously! Thanks for taking the time to respond and explain, your latest sample sounds EXACTLY like the game! I'm more than happy to take the time to extract and render properly, I just don't have the knowledge, tools I can learn to use :D What software did you use to ...

Re: Better Music for GM ScummVM (and DOSBox) games

...but, I've cut to the chase for you and used my script and Tom's game rip to produce this: https://pub.dotbalm.org/audio/gk1_gmv2_fatboy_0787.mp3 Amazing! thanks so much for doing this, although it doesn't sound exactly like ScummVM with FatBoy for FluidSynth. I'm wondering if I can do it myself ...

Re: Better Music for GM ScummVM (and DOSBox) games

Amazing @cwadge, thanks for the update. I can't stress enough how gorgeous the GK tracks sound with FatBoy! Sorry for the newb question, but is there a way to extract those tracks (or midi files) and play them using your soundfont? I'd like to have it as a playlist for getting work done as well as f...

Re: The Longest Journey on Raspberry Pi

Hi @botje, the recompiled from source version is still not giving any dump or stack.

I've checked with the RetroPie dev team and they say the app is not crashing, just exiting, is that possible?
Any hints on what's the component that may not be functioning?

Thanks

Re: The Longest Journey on Raspberry Pi

Hi @botje,
I tried running ResidualVM from the debugger, still no stack and this is the output:

UPDATE: I just noticed you left some instructions above, I'll commit the changes, recompile and let you know how it goes.
Thank you

Re: The Longest Journey on Raspberry Pi

Maybe that's all I need to fix? I also had to disable the HD Mod as they didn't display at all, I would see a black screen and the mouse pointer, only the descriptions of the main menu options would show when I hovered over them. If you tell me how to modify the script in the original post above I c...

Re: The Longest Journey on Raspberry Pi

Unfortunately, the debug process ends up with an empty stack. When looking at the error logs from EmulationStation, this is what I see: Parameters: Executing: bash "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/residualvm/+Start ResidualVM.sh" WARNING: Invalid joystick: 0! Virtual keyboard pack 'vkeybd_default' ...

The Longest Journey on Raspberry Pi

Hi all, I've been trying to get The Longest Journey (using my copy from GOG) with the HD mod using the latest source build of ResidualVM for RetroPie ( https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/ResidualVM ) without much luck. I cannot make it past the main menu screen, as soon as I start the g...

Re: No music on Mixed-Up Mother Goose VGA CD

Thanks @almeath,
Just a brief update, music and speech work properly on the english-only version.
The version with the music issue is the multi-language one. I have created a ticket in the bug tracker for this.
