Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling

Is there any usable tool for removing color dithering? I know ReShade has filters for that, but I'm having quite some trouble using ReShade with ScummVM, plus I'd rather use it on the raw extracted backgrounds. I think dithering is one of the things that still trips the algorithms up, so getting rid...

Until then: https://imgur.com/gallery/GG7oE

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling

Yeah, I saw those as well... incredible stuff.

So, how exactly can you train the algorithm? Could we feed it with all the original MI2 paintings and the resulting VGA backgrounds and off you go?

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling

Well, I know about AI-supported upscaling (though it wasn't a thing yet when I was still working on my posters), but this is a whole new level. Just found out about this and saw your tweet. Boy, this looks great! The first thing that came to my mind was CMI. I mean, we already have the uncompressed ...

Language switching inside the game... possible to implement?

With GOG's release of S&M and FOA utilizing ScummVM, it's good to see them offering different language versions as well, both regarding speech and subtitles. Do you think it would be possible to have ScummVM allow several different language files to be used at the same time, so that we can switch be...

I think it's a good time to congratulate the ScummVM team on their yearlong efforts. Now with official LucasArts-releases using ScummVM, you've made yourselves immortal... well, more immortal... immoretal... you know what I mean.

Well, they are already terribly filtered, so there's no real chance to make them look any good. If I had the original, unfiltered scans, I could work with them though.

Yes, I've read the readme, that's why I know about the middle mouse button in the first place ;) It would be great if long left-click could be implemented in some way, because apart from that CoMI (and Full Throttle, for that matter, as it uses a similar interface) is extremely cool to play on the t...

CoMI on Nexus 7

I guess this applies to all tablets with a touch screen and no hardware keys, but CoMI is a bit difficult to control because a left tap + hold isn't a long left-click (to bring up the verb icon), but a right or middle mouse click. Would it be possible to make this a toggle, to have a tap + hold be e...

Something I've been thinking about: As some of you might know I'm running another posters thread besides this one over at http://poster.mixnmojo.com, and it's getting a bit tedious updating both of them parallely all the time. Would you guys mind, if I'd stop updating this one, so that I can focus o...

Printing shouldn't be the problem... but finding a frame that fits? Much more difficult! And getting one custom made is usually quite expensive.
