ResidualVM doesn't use Direct3D, as that is unavailable outside of Windows, Glide is soon two decades old.
I'm not entirely sure what you were trying to achieve, and couldn't really figure out much from a quick google search for dgVoodoo either.

Re: Need HELP , new to ResidualVM
Hi Sckorpio, I've seen that you've attempted to get in touch on IRC a few times, sadly we've crossed paths at multiple points, without being able to get in touch. Depending on how well people's time zones map up (most of us are fairly close to CEST), IRC can sometimes be a fairly asynchronous medium...

Re: Linux versus Windows
3. I have completed 12 Wintermute games on Windows including all 8 Carol Reed mysteries. But in Carol Reed 10 & 11 (but not the others), the savegames cannot be loaded from the Linux ScummVM menu (as they can in the ScummVM Windows version). Though they can be loaded in-game. That sounds odd, w...

Re: EFMI controls resets to default
Work on ResidualVM, just like any other volunteer-based Open Source project depends largely on the motivation and spare time of the volunteers involved, which means that there are periods of high activity, and periods of lower activity. As for your issue, no one has gotten around to fixing that yet,...

Re: EMI: Save Games
No, there's no such way, as we don't currently support the savegames of the original game (and are probably unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future). However, there are cheats that enable you to jump to a particular spot in the game (not all of those are fully functional however). See jump poin...

Re: ResidualVM 0.3.0 problems
Well, one solution might be to let ResidualVM do the configuration: * Start up ResidualVM directly, possibly with the --config flag to select the directory to save to. * Add the game to ResidualVM, start it, and close it. * Now reconfigure D-Fend so it doesn't select the PATH directly, but instead t...

Re: ResidualVM 0.3.0 problems
Does the check happen if you skip D-Fend Reloaded, and use the built-in launcher for two subsequent launches? In practice, the check will write a flag to residualvm.ini, depending on how D-Fend performs the launch, this might not happen. I cannot make this test because I have copied only the data f...

As far as I remember from my Mac-version, the installer from disk 1 should suffice.

Could you try the EFMI-demo, as available from our downloads-page, and see if that also crashes?

Re: About the TinyGL
A general list of our changes to TinyGL is available here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/residualvm/residualvm/master/graphics/tinygl/Changelog As for speed, I'm not really sure, we have tuned it a bit last summer, but in practice it's not really fast. Not really sure about the CLUT-8bit thing y...

Re: antialiasing setting on grimfandango
I think it started out as "semi-official", i.e. not something we'd advertise in the GUI, and just stayed that way. In practice, the way those graphics settings work for ScummVM isn't really a good fit for how we do configuration, so we might want to do something a bit more specific to Resi...

Out of curiosity, is that weird english/german-mixture visible in ScummVM for such cases as well, or do we have a mismatch in our

Re: Grim Fandango ini-settings for older computer?
Out of curiosity, could you post the HW-specs of the relevant machine? (OS version, GPU and driver, CPU etc). There is little point for us in maintaining ancient GL/Software solutions if the target audience (i.e. those without too modern computers, or computers with limited GL support) can't make us...
