All right, fist and foremost, I do not know what a linker is, or what language that is, I presume it is a coding term, or is it something specific to ScummVM? The Modules, I believe are what are responsible for getting the games to load in the first place, am I correct? As for Symbols, I'm not sure ...

EDIT: Thanks, I'll look into "/base/version.cpp" tonight.

Alright, thank you! I can not seem to get my shell to output all the text to the log file, instead the parts with the error show up within shell, so I have taken a screen shot showing off the error that happens after I have ran the "make" command and let it run for a good while. http://s9....

AROS trying to bring 1.3 Up to Date (non coding expert)

Hello, I am running the AROS distribution IcarOS 2.0.3. http://vmwaros.blogspot.com/ Since IcarOS 1.5, I have been trying desperately to compile ScummVM 1.6 and now 1.7 since AROS only has access to 1.3. Sadly this has always ended with failure as it seems that each time I get a unique error that, f...

I was thinking it was the FM Towns one...

Either way I can't get any of them to talk, not even the Enhanced Version.

Zak McKracken FM-Towns: No Sound Track no Talkie

A long time ago I was able to load up ScummVm and play Zac McKracken with full audio, sound track, dialog and all. Now here I am a couple years later with the latest versions of ScummVM and regardless as to what OS I am running ScummVM on, I am unable to get the Dialog and SoundTrack to work. What f...

I would REALLY like to see this added to the official code as well! It would be nice to be able to relive my classic Amiga experience on one of the latest renditions of the Amiga OS with talkie features!

I'd really love to see this added to the original source tree. Considering that a lot of us ScummVM users are not running Windows, this would help a ton so that we'd not have to have a special tweak of the code in order to enjoy Monkey Island with is new audio goodness.

Thank you!

Looks like the alterations for this to fully work have not been added into the official source tree yet, which is bad news for us MorphOS users, unless I could talk the guy who keeps the MorphOS version up to date into tweaking his code.

So, do I rename:

track7 to track6
track18 to track17
track23 to track22

and vice versa?

Also should I do this renaming after I have renamed 2 to 1 and so on and so forth down through the list?

Lastly, I presume this will not retain the talkie element of the Special Edition?
