Thanks for the suggestion, but all that seems to do is switch between touchpad mode and direct input mode - the in-game cursor is always visible. Just to be sure: We need to disable the Android cursor, not the in-game ones, since the in-game cursors are often needed to see what you're doing..? Yes,...

The double mouse cursor and the mouse cursor jumping on click only can already be changed to system mouse cursor only. Changing the input mode (via the Adlib-Option, see ScummVM WIKI, Android section for info) should do the trick. Thanks for the suggestion, but all that seems to do is switch betwee...

I just got ICS running on my HP Touchpad and figured I'd try out a bluetooth mouse and keyboard hooked up to it. Amazingly, the ICS interface seems to be designed with mouse input in mind as you actually get a mouse cursor that functions just like a touching finger - it's quite cool. ScummVM on the ...

Ok, I set permissions to 777 but still it forgets all settings after the next start. This never happened to me until iOS 4.3.1 so there is a chance this is firmware related. Or is anybody running ScummVM on the newest iOS releases? I'm running ScummVM on an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.1 with no problems....

What are you looking forward to? My tutorial? I completely forgot about it, but could put something together if you're interested - what operating system are you working with?

Did you read our wiki? http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Compiling_ScummVM/iPhone I sure did. And everything that's written there on using the unofficial SDK makes perfect sense and I followed it to the letter. The problem is that the instructions written by saurik on how to install the unofficial ...

Working toolchain?

Hi there people. I got frustrated with the lack of support on the Monkey Island Fan Patch so I decided to figure out how to compile up ScummVM on my own for the iPhone. Unfortunately, it's not exactly an easy process. I found a VMware image of "[Toolchain] - VMWare Image (Debian 4R1)" whic...

Re: How can I promote the Monkey Island Fan Patch?

I would REALLY REALLY REALLY like to see the Monkey Island Talkie Edition fan patch incorporated into the main trunk of ScummVM so that we can play these great games with voices on systems other than Windows. The patch is located here. Can I donate to specifically get this implemented? What do I ne...

Could someone compile the Monkey Island fan patch for iOS?

I just got a swanky new iPad and I'd love to play the fan patch talkie versions of Monkey Island 1 & 2 on it without having to buy them all over again on yet ANOTHER platform.

Source code is here:

Thanks in advance people!

By default the iPhone port loads up in "Touchpad" mode where you move your finger around on the screen and the mouse pointer moves like it would if you were using a touchpad on a laptop. My guess is that you're just trying to tap the buttons instead of moving the cursor there first. Give t...
