Okay, I sent you a private message with the contents of the INI file. I have ran the windows version through DosBox. It's setup to run through Windows 3.1 with General Midi. All sounds are there and they all play correctly

Nope - I have MUNT installed & it works just fine. If I use the MT-32 emulation, then some sounds are missing from the Windows version. I'm a pretty advanced computer user. I own a real MT-32 but didn't set it up on my current computer. So, no disrespect, but I wouldn't make a stupid mistake lik...

Yeah, that's exactly where it's saved in my Windows 10 system as well. Have you been able to successfully run the Japanese version of PQ2?

Thank you very much :D I placed the file in the ScummVM folder, and even in the game folder. But it still keeps coming up with the message "Unable to load SJIS.FNT"...is there something else I need to do? :?

I'm using Windows 10. I can hear the difference in his mp3 samples, but again I don't hear a difference when I play them through ScummVM or DOSBox. Maybe it's not a problem in the Windows port

I just played the DOS version of KQ2,using the latest ScummVM daily snapshot, and the Tandy sounds sound perfectly fine to me. I went back and forth several times (about 4 times) between DOSBox & ScummVM, and honestly couldn't tell the difference. Both sounded nice and clear
