I'm thinking ScummVM on PS2 is not used very often. Which is too bad, it works very well on the PS2 from what I've seen. No it didn't work. A text message appeared on the screen "this disc could not be played" For some reason i didn't have the option in the nero to write the disc at 2x spe...

Re: Broken Sword PSX Videos

The resolution of the .AVI I get is 640x200. When I use these in ScummVM, it plays back at that resolution, which it does not do on a PSX because of the square resolution of the TV. [...]which is probably an issue with the .STR to .AVI converter. Well, that is easy to find out. What resolution is th...

Broken Sword PSX Videos

Is it possible to convert the PSX videos to DXA to allow them to play in ScummVM? I've attempted this on my own with no luck. I found a .STR converter, which will convert the videos to .AVI. I can then convert this to a series of .PNG files, which I can then convert to DXA. The problem I'm running i...

Tried using one of the PSP TG/PCE emulators and it works great. Screen is a little off, but otherwise works great. Guess I'll use that for now, until ScummVM gets this working on PSP/PS2. I've actually tried that PS2 TG/PCE emulator and it doesn't work well. Sound is off, and it doesn't do CDs at al...

I didn't notice that, I did try the HOWTO for LoomTG16 . Works great for Windows, but not PS2. I even tried it on my PSP with no luck either. Would sure be great to be able to get this working on either PS2 or PSP. If "TG16" and "PC-Engine" are the same things, it's listed on the...

Loom TurboGrafx CD on PS2

Does this combination work? I tried it this evening and it doesn't work at all. Seems to hang the emulator. I created all of the audio files in OGG and copied the working directory from my Windows machine. Doesn't seem to work...

Thanks, I'll give this a try. Haven't actually tried getting any other ELF files to start from FMCB on a USB key. Already posted another message about getting this working from a PS2 DVD, that would be great. Unfortunately, that doesn't work well either. ScummVM works great just booting from uLaunch...

Are the DVD files available for this? I would like to create one of these for my PS2, but the link for the example files seems to be broken. Are there any newer instructions available for creating a ScummVM PS2 DVD? I tried creating one based on the instructions for MC Boot and ESR, but it didn't bo...

Starting Scumm from MC Boot

Is this possible to start Scumm from the main menu of MC Boot? I have tried and it only restart back to the main menu. I have added the Scumm files to my USB key, added the Scumm launch ELF to the MC Boot configuration and started the PS2. Whenever I attempt to start this from the main menu, Scumm n...
