Do you feel it works better now on WebOS 2? (as I have noticed that a lot of posts that relate to the original Pre were dated back to 09/10) as I'd rather have 1.4.5 running smoothly than version 2 lagging a bit. Hm. Hard to say. My main phone is a Pre 2. My daughter uses my old Pre 1 (With WebOS 2...

Ok, so far it looks correct (But you haven't given me the output of "mount"). Now let's try to start scummvm manually: cd /media/cryptofs/apps/usr/palm/applications/org.scummvm.scummvm ./start Again send me the output on the console. And please check if there is something new in the /media/internal/...

I have never used novaterm. Hm, too bad. But maybe you want to give it a try? Here are some instructions how to get novaterm running: http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/index.php/HP_Touchpad If you manage to get it running and you get a shell prompt of your phone when you run novaterm on your computer then ...

Re: Issues getting games in Directory
People have mentioned in previous posts to delete the config file from the SCummVM folder but I do not have one in there and cannot get access to the one in the cryptofs folder. It's good to finally get in contact with someone who experiences this problem. Unfortunately others prefer to write bad r...

Re: ScummOV on WebOS: F-keys missing
how can I switch charaters? I expect that this problem occours in other games liks day of tentankel, Manic Mansion... It was new to me that you can switch the character with the F-Keys. Never did that. When I remember correctly then there is a command button (Named "switch" or something like that)....

For accurate emulation, a few of these exist which have sampled the original cards (although the legality of these is questionable). After some discussion Debian has included the Fluid soundfont in the main distribution. So it was accepted as "free" by Debian and Debian is very picky about license ...

It does NOT work. On the pixi you just get a black screen. It never displays anything. Can you try starting it from a terminal? Maybe it spits out some useful "unresolved symbols" error messages or maybe a segfault. I wonder... Is it possible to activate dump files on WebOS to debug segfaults? Neve...

Re: I'll start looking at the code once I find the time...
It does NOT work. On the pixi you just get a black screen. It never displays anything. ...That's unfortunate. I'm curious if the official port ever worked for it... if so, it was me turning on the scalers that did it. I'm pretty sure the official port wasn't working, too. I never got positive repor...

The pixi is a different processor. It is an arm v6, and all the other webOS devices are v7. A build for the pixi should run on all other devices, but may be slightly slower. I know that. The current official ScummVM release is compiled with Pixi compiler settings. But so far I haven't heard of anyo...

Hi TomFrost, just tested your Touchpad fork on my Pre 2 and it looks like it hasn't broken anything. Works perfectly, well done! I really like the two-finger-gestures and the toggling of the touchpad mode. You really should create a pull request so we can get this into the official sources. I have s...

At this point, I guess all that all the app needs at this point for the touchpad is some sort of dual finger tap for right click and some sort of way to press escape. Right click should work the same way as on the phones: * Tap held for >0.5s without movement: Right mouse button click * Tap held fo...

Re: Controls on HP Touchpad
Once I start a game, the only gesture that works is the flick up from the bottom to go into card mode. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong please? ScummVM currently relies on a physical keyboard and on the gesture area which unfortunately is not available on the Touchpad. Touchpad suppor...

More problems: 1) Every time I reload the app I have to RE-ADD ALL OF MY GAMES! It doesn't save the list of the games I've added. 2) The back-swipe and forward-swipe gestures do NOT do anything (as the description indicates they do...) 3) Any changes you've made to the preferences/options of ScummV...
