Hi, I've heard before of the static effect - this happens when using a big-endian soundfile on a little-endian pc (or vice versa). If you google for it I am sure you will find multiple converters for your ripped wav files. If you want to know what big-endian / little endian means, wikipedia is your ...

Hallo OP,

I once made a similar suggestion. You can read here why an enhancement of iMUSE music is not possible (or, at least very arduous to implement).

I pondered that too, but for that the following must have taken place: 1. more than 300 people using this proxy suddenly wanted to have the BASS CD version, all of them within 24 hours on each sunday since I set up the mirror. Maybe all this happened on a LAN party .... 2. isn't a proxy supposed to ...

I set up a mirror for the BASS CD-Version. http://scummvm.edoras-art.de/bass-cd-1.2.zip Great! I put it to our downloads page. Eugene Hello Sev, unfortunately I have to ask you to remove the mirror link. Although I calculated that a reserve of 80GB traffic should be more than enough to host the BAS...

Hello Spoony Hou, as noted before by LogicDeluxe, there is no way past a real MT-32 - at least if the games use their own sounds (e.g. the Sierra games do heavily rely on that). If you are asking for personal oppinions here: the MT-32 emulation is a nice thing, but the real MT-32 sounds way better I...

I am not sure which file you are talking about exactly, thus I can't check if there is anything wrong with that particular file. If the problems persist, please be a bit more specific... Sorry, that indeed I should have been. As noize noted the file I was referring to is the scummvmwin32.exe (daily...

too much traffic?

Dear ScummVM website maintainer, I have noticed that downloading a daily ScummVM Snapshot is conciderably slow - indeed much slower as it used to be (around 80 kb/sec vs. a few kb/sec during the last days). I am just courious if you are experiencing any bandwith/traffic related problems and are thus...

Hello LaSombra,

just tested myself - PocketSCUMM crashes also on my hx4700 with Win2003SE.

I took the liberty to post a bug report. Hope this is ok for you.

I sent you a PM with my email-adress, so if you like you can send me your savegame. I own the Fate Of Atlantis (English - CD-Version). If you have the same version (or the savegames are compatible) I can run a check if I am able to pass the specified point in game without a crash on my iPAQ hx4700. ...

sure, the data files are not corrupt?
Since AFAIK ScummVM calculates a MD5 of the game data to identify the game, the files should be correct, as long as the games is correctly identified.

The memory dump could help one of the devolpers. Don't know if they contact you or if you have to contact them. Maybe you could post this memory dump as a bug report alongside with the savegame leading to the crash. Then they have all the data you can provide and they can decide if this is a general...

Well .... I have no idea! I believe when PocketScumm crashes, a crash report is written (at least this happened with one of the 0.7.0 versions). You could search for that on your PDA - if I remember rigth this was written in the "My Device" folder, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Maybe t...

Hi, knowing the name of your device and the OS which is running on it would really help in identifying your problem. BTW: a number of problems posted recently in this forum concided with using the PocketScumm built for PocketPC 2003 on a PocketPC 2002, so maybe you want to check if this is also the ...

just for your information: I use a 1G SD-Card (Sandisk Ultra II) with enhanced reading and writing performance.
