I don't know if it makes sense in modern machines, but with older machines DOSbox ismore resource hungry, resulting in delays, stutterng etc. Same with some emulators like UAE. Gameplay with SVM is more smooth as the game runs as a Windows application.

Hi, I can't get the subtitles to appear in ScummVM, does this patch work with ScummVM and Gabriel Knight 2 (GK2)? Any help is appreciated.

I don't remember if I had any problems with this particular puzzle, but in these games you always pick up everything (except in Dreamweb I suppose), and if you get stuck you try every possible combination you can think of.
