VLC is now released for iPad (and coming soon for iPhone). To use it you need to transfer the files you need in iTunes from your computer. I've also noticed that some other programs like "Beneath a Steel Sky" has an option to transfer files to and from the iPhone (iUnit). Why cannot ScummV...

Okay.

The dos version uses *.voc file, while the windows uses *.wav as speach/sound. I guess they are more or less the same.
Thanks

Simon the sorcerer dos vs win

Hi

I have a CD with both windows and dos version of Simon 2. Which version should I install with scummVM, I see that both are supported, but what are the differences between the versions?

I just noted that the 7th guest is not on the "Playable to the end"-list. But even so, i was able to solve the entire game.

Probably. It could of course use an "out-of-reach" position like number 10 as autosave. And it would just be loadable from the scummvm launcher.

Autosave in t7g.

Why is there no autosave in t7g? I just encountered a bug in the latest rc (not sure if it is reproducable yet). But I hadn't saved in a long while. :(

Hi. Thanks for the replies. t7g is the only game I had to do some work before I could play. Like ripping the CD audio. The options I was thinking about is the visual rendering (alt shift + a number I think), and using f5 to access load/save functions. I think the scummvm works fine, but it seems mor...

Installer

I have always been wondering if I should install the game before I use scummvm or just play it from the CD. I'm also wondering if I should use ScummVM to run a game, if it seems to be working without. I recently tried to play 7th Guest, but I had to find the wikipage and copy all files specified. Si...
