How did you build the disc image? You need to set mkisofs to accept the "()" bracket characters with a certain parameter. Sorry, I don't remember off the top of my head what it was. The other option is to open the engine plugin " ENGINE_NAME [/b].PLG" in a hex editor, and replace...

There is a thread right here in the DC forum that mentions cd-da playback in Loom. I also tried rebuilding the Drascula data files into a disc with the original track order, using the flac. I had cd-da playback in each scene, until I interacted with anything . Strangely enough, the cd-da music does ...

Okay, thanks. I didn't want to get to far, and find out I'd been playing with the tracks out of order. ;) On one small note, the wiki info on ripping the data from the iso track could probably stand an update for 64bit systems. I run Vista x64 I simply ripped the disc as a bin/cue using the freeware...

I'll assume that you mean that you rebuilt a ScummVM data files disc, with cd-da ? The FAQ here may help. http://www.scummvm.org/faq/#4_1 ScummVM fully supports CD audio in Gobliins (CD), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (FM-TOWNS), Loom (CD & FM-TOWNS), Monkey Island 1 (CD, FM-TOWNS & Seg...

TurboGrafx-16 Loom audio tracks

Hello. I was recently able to get a hold of a copy of the TurboGrafx-16 game Loom, for half the cheapest price I saw it listed on Ebay no less. I paid 20 US dollars My question is this... After following the guide to extract the data files, I'm left wondering what to do for the audio tracks. What is...

There was a thread on the forums here a over a year ago where they were discussing the type of tools needed to compress the Toon formats. I think that there were some legal issues over the ones available, and that they were hopeful that a properly licensed alternative might become available in the f...

Hmmm... I haven't checked back in a while, but I see that this was never added after the tracker request was made.

I take it then that this isn't going to be merged into the main trunk? Is there fear of some type of legal issues being encountered?

I posted a feature request with a patch included (3076698). I'm not to decide what goes into the official build, though. Are you sure this wasn't more in line with the patch tracker? It's command line only. DOTT was the first LucasArts adventure with a frontend for this. For a list of available opt...

There doesn't seem to be a Mohawk plugin included with the nightly Dreamcast binary files. Will this be added in the future, or maybe not at all? EDIT; This probably applies to other ports as well, but this was the official response given when I added a request to the tracker. Which engines are buil...

Did the original PC version have a "setup.exe", for configuring your sound card's IRQ, DMA, and the like.

If so, could this somehow be simulated?

I posted a feature request with a patch included (3076698). I'm not to decide what goes into the official build, though. Cool. Is the team planning on doing this for MI2:SE as well? I'll definitely pick it up if you are. Did you check the Windows mixer? Does the problem appear with the Fate of Atla...

The modified ScummVM source: http://www.mediafire.com/?1u6cpr1ki0q3a8q This minor modification was required for two reasons: - Better support the options menu, since orignal ScummVM assumes that the enhanced CD has neither MIDI nor voice acting. - Even worse, original ScummVM refuses to use the str...

Two questions...

What types of audio compression can you use on this, besides ogg/flac?

-and-

Will this work with any ScummVM supported platform?

I recently picked up a PS3 Slim, and there's no Linux support for it, what the hell...

Any chance someone has figured out how to run homebrew code on a PS3 Slim? Otherwise I might actually have to consider trading for, or buying another, older PS3.
