Same thing with MI1. They used the original game files and didn't even change a script, so I doubt they would for CMI. Besides that, I doubt that those scenes were completely done to begin with as I only have seen concept arts and no screenshots or anything (unlike the Spiffy close-up), so they mos...

If they're gonna redo CMI, the only thing they should do is, of course, higher resolution, and add all the missing scenes that were scraped back then because they didn't have the disc space (like a missing scene between part 5 and 6)

with scummvm at least, i never got the combinations right even with the lost dialogs (and countless walkthroughs that explained them). so i just went into CTRL+G mode, and randomly pressed until i got it. and it worked. 4 times

which version of scummvm? i don't know much about 5530xm, but if you're using a version that takes too much ram for that specific device, it could cause those kind of issues.

yhea it sounds like an iMuse issue. most of the game's actions are triggered with the music (or vice versa). try downgrading the Scummvm version. could be a regression.

donno. maybe the new v40 firmware could have better results. I hear it has better RAM management, so it MIGHT help.

the cutscenes aren't all that great anyways :P
be grateful that the game itself runs fine. there's a WIP compression tool for tinsel, but i don't know if it includes the movie files.
