Me again! :) I've done some research and thinking. 8) From what I understand now, ScummVM sends its MIDI data not to the default device (-1), but always to device 0. Since Device 0 is either the GS soft synth or, as with me, the Xmidi USB. In Windows <Vista this would work whithout a problem, becaus...

Re: FOTAQ German Download - File broken?

Which version of ScummVM are you using? I couldn't reproduce it with 1.0.0 or the current development version. I am using the current release version, 1.0.0. I just downloaded the installer for Windows and installed it. Normally I just get the binaries and put it where I want it. To no avail though...

FOTAQ German Download - File broken?

Hello all! To expand my ever-growing collection of scummVM compatible games, :D I downloaded FOTAQ in German from here . It unpacks fine, CRC of the zip is OK. I even downloaded it twice from different servers to make sure it wasn't a weird fluke. All files were identical though. When I start the ga...

Problem with MIDI in Windows 7 x64

Hello y'all! :D I have dug up my Roland CM-32L yesterday and I've been fiddling with scummVM's v1.0.0 since then. Had to buy a new MIDI interface, since my current machine doesn't have a gameport any longer. I've gotten meself an E-MU Xmidi 1x1 Tab and up to this point, it's been working as ex...

Thanks for the quick answer, but using batch files means that I can't use the GUI anymore. Not an option. :(

How to use enviroment variables in scummVM .ini?

Hello fellow monkeys! :D I've been using scummVM for a few years now and I've tried different methods of keeping it portable and to modify settings to my liking/needs. What I found bothersome is the need for paths in the .ini file. Obviously paths are needed, :) but I would really appreciate the opt...
