Test 1.2 versions
Hi all,
As you may know, the guy who's been maintaining the WinCE port for many years (Knakos) has had to step away from it for a while. In his absence, I'm trying to do the best I can in terms of ensuring that builds are still done, but my free time is extremely limited at the moment - hence the delay in getting 1.2 out.
I finally found time to do some 1.2 release builds today, and they can be found at:
http://www.wss.co.uk/scummvm/scummvm-1.2.0-wince.zip
They are *completely* untested (literally - they may not even run). While I have the compiler set up, I don't have time to fight a WinCE device or emulator back into a working state at the moment.
I'd therefore be really grateful if people could download and try them. Assuming no massive showstoppers crop up over the next few days we'll get them uploaded as release builds.

Downloaded and testing.
Seems to work with King Quest V and Space Quest IV, all in Spanish.

If somebody could also test the non-SCI engines, I think that would help Robin a lot.

tested with Elvira, Broken Sword 2, Discworld and Gobbliiins, and no problem yet. At least games starts and restore savegames.

Also... are you using the single executable (scummvm.exe) or the split ones (scummvm1.exe and scummvm2.exe)?

I´m doing the tests in a HTC Touch HD with Windows Mobile 6.5 and with the scummvm1.exe because scummvm.exe gives me a lot of memory crashes on VGA games.
I have memory problems on Monkey 3. It loads but in the begining when intro starts, after selecting normal or megamonkey game, scummvm crashes. With version 1.1 it runs perfect.
Kinq Quest V runs a bit slow but playable.
Games that loads and you can play at least the first screen :
Monkey Island 2 floppy
Sam & Max floppy with intro voices
Day of The Tentacle floppy with intro voices
Lure of templess floppy
Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis floppy
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade EGA floppy
Loom floppy
Maniac Mansion EGA floppy
Monkey Island 1 VGA floppy
Elvira Mistress of the Dark.
Operation Stealth floppy disk
Further testing of every game in a while...

I´m using an HTC touch viva and I use scummvm.exe with no erros in the following games:
Broken Sword 1 and 2
Leisure Suit Larry 1 EGA
Simon the Sorrecer 1 and 2
Full throtle
The Dig

Trying to run Drascula but i get the error: File 'drascula.dat' is wrong version. Expected 4 but got 2. Get it from the ScummVM website.
I downloaded from the web with no luck.
Madbarto.
SCI games: Freddy Parkas and EcoQuest 2 working well.
With Teen Agent, Scummvm detects the game but exits when loads.
Legend of Kyrandia 3 Scummvm doesn't detect my version. Edited: missing a file. Now working.

Right!, the zip it's ok.
Playing more time with Broken Sword 2, Day of the Tentacle, King Quest 5 and still no errors.
Now, i'm trying with some games that doesn't work, like Teen Agent or Cruise for a Corpse , with the desktop version, to figure out what's the source of the problem.
Otherwise if you need some help of any kind, i'll be happy to do it within my means.
