"MK" is also an incorrect acronym for 'monkey island'
unless you're talking about Mortal Kombat.

But ScummVM's seperate Residual project plans to support it in the future.

Just now it only supports Grim Fandango, and progress is quite slow at the moment.

In a way, that's true: Lip-sync used to work.
The project suffers from a lack of developers, so I guess it doesn't take much for it to grind to a halt.
