Out of Memory

Post by AcerVentura »

I just tried the new version with Freddie Fish 2.

After the 'Infogrames" logo, it exits out to console with "Out of Memory Error"

Which version firmware?
Did the game work with a previous version of ScummVM?

Using FW 1.5-

I don't know if it worked on previous versions, this is the first I've tried.

However, Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise works just fine!

Also, on the PSP is there any way to adjust the speed of the 'mouse' (aka analog nub)?

I find the nub really fast and the direction keys really slow.

I guess that game simply uses more memory than other Humongous Entertainment games (they were never really tested on PSP).

You can't change the controls in the current version other than is documented in README.PSP (you did read that, right?), in the future I want to revisit the analog nub sensitivity and remove the d-pad cursor movement completely in favour of using it for certain (hot)keys and shortcuts.

I think the analoug nub is perfect, just hold triangle to slow the cursor down if needed.
