Sorry for the n00bish post =]

I just download ScummVM and it is .dmg format...what do I do know? It won't open...

i think dmg is a mac disc image

Indeed. Double-clicking on a DMG in Mac OS X will mount it as a new volume on your desktop.

If your not using Mac OS X, you downloaded the wrong file and its useless to you :) Go back and get the RIGHT version for your operating system.
