I've just uploaded a strange ADI4+Adibou3 kind-of-interactive demo, in french. http://rapidshare.com/files/229728075/A ... o.RAR.html

DrMcCoy will love this one : empty intro.stk ! Just for his personal own pleasure ! :)

I had a lot of problems uploading, could you confirm it's OK ?

OK, i checked my game CDs and stumbled over Goblins 1, which has a great deal of demos on it ... unfortunately i don't have the time to explicitely check these and post here which are known and which not (i just did that with a few and i got a lot of unknown, or parts of them unknown, versions)

So here is the list of the demos in the package:
Coktel

Goblins 1
Goblins 2
Golbins 3
Inca
Inca 2
Lost in Time
Ween

Sierra

Freddie Pharkas
Gabriel Knight
Hoyle 1
Hoyle 3
Laura Bow
Leisure Suit Larry 1
Leisure Suit Larry 5
Leisure Suit Larry 6
Police Quest 3
Polcie Quest 4
Quest for Glory 1
Quest for Glory 3
Quest for Glory 4
SLAT(?)
Space Quest 1
Space Quest 5

Have fun adding (hopefully some of them are worth the time)

and here's the link

Yes, checking for unknown versions is best, but only for supported games.

Inca
Inca used a different game engine, and we already have the others game demos.

SLAT(?)
These two demos are useful, although SCI game engine isn't actually supported yet. We have large collection of SCI games demos already, but only a few are currently working under ScummVM.

Heads up - seems there's another version of the playable Fate of Atlantis demo.

http://archives.scovetta.com/pub/giga_games/MSDOS/DEMO/

Earlier version I believe. I think the one hosted on LucasArts' FTP is v2.0.

Thanks for the link, but we already have the two playable demos of Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis.

Oooh, you replied quickly. Was going to say it was mirrored here too:

http://files.chatnfiles.com/Giga-Games/ ... DOS/DEMOS/

...which also has the Simon 1 demo (I prefer original archives with the original timestamps, so this is smashing! ;))

BTW, just out of interest... does anyone know where the Last Crusade rolling demo originated from? Like was it from a a magazine, or bundled with another LucasArts title? (I think I read somewhere that the original Maniac Mansion demo was put on the same disk as another game, but I my recollection of this may be vague.)

Would be lovely to have an original archive. :)

UPDATE: Hmmm, anyone know how to use Telnet and BBSes? It looks like through random googling that this archive holds an original Indy3 demo zip but I'm stumped if I know how to "obtain credits" to download with (yes I did try using Telnet for the first time in my life, after much translating work!).
