Curse of MI prob. room error. Please help..

Hello,
I've copied the files from the 2 cds to my HD and threw away the files I didn't need. I kept COMI.LA0, COMI.LA1, COMI.LA2 and the resource folder (with added files from the other resource folder).

At first i didn't experience a problem at all. BUT, after Guybrush dug up his beloved Elaine and put her up in the crownest..I got an error:

ERROR: (52:123:0x40): room 52 not in room 52 at 0+8 in file comi.la2

What do I do to fix this?

this could mean that the datafile is corrupt, maybe try to copy comi.la2 again from the CD?
