Samsung i8510 Optical Joystick Support?

somehow I could not manage to install the s60 sdk. so I could not look at the code of this OJexample I posted earlier. could you send the sourcecode? so I can compare it to your code? or maybe you can do it? if you can build a ojexample.sis I could tell you if this works. I am just trying to help...

No.. it does n't work as the example suggests. And no real documentation of how it works on that phone. So I need to get the phone to test on.

oh shit... I did post the wrong link.
Basicly I need to know if you did download the samsung s60 SDK since there might be some differences to the nokia one. And if you where able to use the "OpticalJoystickExample" in the i8510 emulator?

I never ever could use the optical joystick example, I have tried it several times, and it does not really work. There are some things needed to get it working perhaps. Special security capabilities might be needed.

Ok now I understand how it works in the emulator so now I can test scummvm with it in the emu. Lets see what is missing.

Ok, got some cursor moving in ScummVM in the emulator now, two lines of code missing.

Great to hear! GOt some wierd issues with the focus on the emu and also that it resets to center.But don't know how well it works on the phone.
