While trying to install scumm to my psp i was having some trouble, and searches on forums (including this one) turned up people experiencing the same errors, i have since got it working, and heres how it goes.
1) Download the latest ScummVM for psp on this webpage.
2) Open this program with winzip and EXTRACT the contents to the desktop or somewhere similar.
3) This should create a folder called "scummvm-0.12.0-psp" with the folders "1.50-eboot" and "single-eboot" inside.
4) Go inside the 1.50-eboot folder to find two further folders "%__SCE__scummvm-0.12.0-psp" and "__SCE__scummvm-0.12.0-psp".
5) Copy these 2 folders to the x:\psp\game150 folder.
6) Go to your memory card in the game XMB menu and startup ScummVM.
