problem with scummvm in suse

Hi... i`ve installed SDL 1.2.9 but when i try to run ./scummvm appears this message:

WARNING: Unable to open configuration file: /home/edgonfue/.scummvmrc!
Could not initialize SDL: No available video device!

I dont`t know what to do... if someone could help me i`ll appreciate it.
