Day of the Tentacle crashing (menu, changing orientation)

I'm running ScummVM 0.11.1 for iPhone on a v1.1.4 iPod touch.

After I've started Day of the Tentacle (CD/English), if I try to access the menu (one finger held, one finger sliding up), or if I turn the iPod touch to change orientation, the game crashes. I'm using an OGG-converted MONSTER file (MONSTER.SOG), known-working with ScummVM for Windows.

Any ideas? I realize this version is still early in development, but I'm hoping there's a solution.
