It will not go. We doing our best to not alter games. Only exception is when there is an obvious bug which wasn't fixed by original developers, and which prevents the game to be completable.

doesn't that collide with current BASS projects?

ScummVM subprojects don't dictate what goes into the actual main ScummVM package.

They are individual entities within the ScummVM Team / Project, and as such the actual ScummVM software has its own set of (mostly unwritten :) rules as to what and how things can be done.

In short, this is simply one of those features that we don't believe is reasonable.

No, BASS is a completely different story. Original game author i.e. Revolution sponsors the project. No copyright issues will ever arise, moreover the game is free.

PS. And besides, those are enchancements in a manner of our scalers, i.e. no alterations to gameplay.

ok, what if only enable subtitle feature like in simon2? so if anyone will manage to edit text files for cd version it will display them (is it possible btw? =) )
and this will not alter the game! =)
